Sneeze happy
I don't generally have allergies. My only allergy was, ironically enough, to cats. One of my childhood best friends had a beautiful black cat, and everytime I spent the night at her house, Sooty would sleep sprawled across my neck. I would wake up with a cat shawl and barely able to breathe, though I'd never move her because I thought she'd get bitey on me.
This allergy I overcame through sheer force of will last summer in Queens when we brought M Cat home: I would either get over it or forever live with puffy eyes, sneezing, and a running nose. Happily I got over it, and thought I was allergy free! No more sniffles! No more itchy eyes! I wouldn't need over-the-counter medicine to calm my frazzled sinuses!
That is until I moved back to pollen country. And, apparently, developed a pollen allergy.
I sneeze at a lovely little clip now...and I nearly give Jeremy a heart attack every time I do. I'm told that the force of my sneezes rivals fog horns in volume. I really try to keep it quiet but I just can't. If I try too hard, I end up making a strange "ahhh...ahhh-crkkkk!!!" noise that I figure is less becoming than my elephant trumpet.
The bar exam study is going as well as it could be. Sometimes I'm so bored out of my mind that I don't think I can take it. My concentration is absolutely worthless. Today, I did discover that my Flickr account lets me post pictures directly to the blog. I have no idea how I've been on it for so long and didn't notice...but I'm certainly going to use it now!

ahh...cat names - a black cat named 'sooty' - gotta love it! I grew up in a household with gray cats... Smokey 1, Smokey 2, etc....alright we lacked originality but we LOVED our cats and figured one 'good' name was purr-fect for all of them!!!!
